Students
in the 11th
and
12th
grades
with a 2.5
high
school GPA who can benefit from
advanced scholastic or vocational work can enroll in
college courses and receive
college credit through the Fifteen Percent Program, if
their high school is participating
in the college program.
· Students
must spend 240
minutes per
school day on their high school campus to participate
in the program and use the credits earned for both COLLEGE
AND HIGH
SCHOOL.
· Students
may be required to take the English and Math Placement
tests prior to admission
into the program. A Placement Test will be required for
students wanting
to take an English class.
· Students
select classes from the Reedley
College Schedule of Classes that
are not normally
available at the high school and may lead to a career or
degree.
· Students
will be admitted to classes for which he/she is qualified
provided there is available
seating.
· Students
will be restricted to two classes per semester.
Fifteen Percent Application may be
available from your high school counselor
provided your high school is participating in the program.
