Assessment Center
NOW LOCATED IN "INC" BUILDING, ROOM 1All students
entering Reedley College or the North Centers for the first time (or
after a 3-year absence) must take a
General Placement test prior to registration in order to be
advised by a counselor. This is part of the Matriculation process
mandated by the State of California Community College Chancellor's
Office, and an effective component of the "Multiple-Criteria"
counseling process as well. The assessment test measures your skill
level in 3 areas important to all academic undertakings:
Students should
view this as a measure of their skills in order to help a counselor
and the student determine the best choice of classes to start their
academic career. You cannot pass or fail this test.
See the list below for important information about this test, and
other services offered by the Assessment Center.
YOU MAY CHOOSE TO BE EXEMPT FROM THE MATRICULATION
PROCESS.
PLEASE SEE A COUNSELOR FOR AN EXPLANATION.
YOU MUST
BRING PHOTO ID TO TEST
SESSION.
APPLICATION SHOULD BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO TEST SESSION.
