SEQUOIA
RESIDENCE HALL
Reedley Colleges
Sequoia Hall provides housing facilities for 100 women and 100 men.
RC
believes that residence hall living can be an integral part of
the educational process and
provides opportunities for students
to develop their social life,
self-government and leadership
skills.
Life in Sequoia Hall
provides opportunities for learning to live
successfully with others and to share in the give and take of residence
hall life. Sequoia Hall is considered to be more than mere living
quarters; therefore, high standards of behavior are expected of
all residents.
SEQUOIA HALL FACILITIES

on the southern corner of the campus. It is a modern, carpeted,
air-conditioned, two-story building. One wing is for the women and
one wing is for the men, with joint usage of the spacious lounge,
game room, and patio area. It offers students comfortable, inexpensive
living, with access to all campus facilities. Bathroom, laundry
rooms, and vending machines are provided. The laundry rooms include
coin-operated washers and dryers.

is available during the evenings and late night, 7 days a week.
The office is located on the first floor of the complex.
STUDY CONDITIONS

and staff are concerned with creating a maintaining a good study
environment within the hall. Therefore, courtesy hours are in effect
from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. During these hours, conditions conducive
to study and sleep are required in the hall and in the immediate
vicinity. A 6-station computer lab is available to the residents.
The lab is open Sunday-Thursday, and Friday afternoons. The

access to outdoor tennis, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, gymnasium
activities, and swimming pool facilities. Leisure activities are
planned by Sequoia Hall staff to provide relaxation and the opportunity
for the residents to make new friends.
SEQUOIA HALL SELF-GOVERNMENT
Sequoia Hall residents
must accept some of the responsibility for governing themselves
