The 2002 Reedley College Agriculture & Natural Resources, 35th Annual FFA Field Day is set for Saturday, March 16. We expect approximately 700 high school students, teachers, parents and guests to be in attendance that day.  This event will expose high school students to some of the opportunities our college has to offer.

2001 - FFA Field Day

The Field Day, coordinated by the college's LAND department, is a judging field which drew more than 600 high school students from 71 chapters throughout the state.  The event featured twelve different competitions, including Ag Pests, Ag Mechanics, Computers, Best Informed Greenhand, Farm Power, Floriculture, Forestry, Horse, Land, Livestock, Ornamental Horticulture, and Specialty Animals.  The day’s events included entertainment and a luncheon; and concluded with an awards presentation.

RC's LAND department offers premiere programs for students in agriculture, forestry, and landscape horticulture.   Students may chose to earn an associate degree, prepare for transfer to a four-year college, or gain career skills.
